The genesis of a transformative vision for a better Europe
2018
The Initial Vision
Faced with growing inequalities and climate challenges, a group of European development experts imagines a new approach: financing inclusive projects without repayment constraints, putting community empowerment at the heart of each initiative.
2019
Official Creation
EFIDS officially comes to life with a diverse European committee and an innovative digital platform. The first financing is granted to sustainable agriculture projects in Europe, inclusive education and ICT.
2021
European Expansion
Despite the pandemic, EFIDS accelerates its activities and finances more than 200 projects in 22 countries. Introduction of total transparency system and strategic partnerships with major European organizations.
2023
Technological Innovation
Launch of the 100% digital platform enabling real-time project monitoring. EFIDS becomes the first development organization to offer complete transparency through blockchain technology for financing tracking.
2025
1000 Projects Goal
With more than 500 funded projects and 2 million impacted beneficiaries, EFIDS sets the ambitious goal of reaching 1000 funded projects by 2026, strengthening its impact in priority sustainable development sectors.
